Ten months of personal use, and a little bar I’ve fallen in love with.

Some of my favorite creations begin with curiosity, botanical ingredients, and a desire to create something special.

This particular shampoo bar began as a recipe I developed for my own hair. For the past 10 months, I’ve been quietly using it alongside our handcrafted Conditioner Bar, taking the time to experience the formula before introducing it to you.

And I’ve fallen in love with its longevity and how my hair feels when I use the two together. So, when it came time to make it again, I decided to make a larger batch to share with you.

Unlike traditional soap-based shampoo bars, our Botanical Syndet Shampoo Bar is formulated with cleansing surfactants and conditioning ingredients to create a rich, satisfying lather.

A Thoughtful Blend of Botanicals & Ingredients

At the heart of this handcrafted formula is a combination of:

• Mango Butter — a rich botanical butter.
• Rosemary & Oregano-Infused Olive Oil — an herbal infusion prepared with olive oil.
• Matcha Green Tea — a finely powdered green tea that brings another botanical element to the recipe.
• Ginger, Clove & Honey Mixture — a homemade preparation incorporated into this special formula.
• Rice Water — a traditional ingredient used in hair care preparations.
• Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) — included as part of the shampoo formulation.
• Vitamin E Oil — a valued addition to our botanical oil blend.
• Hydrolyzed Rice Protein — incorporated into our conditioning formula.
• Glycerin — a moisture-attracting ingredient.

How to Use

Wet your hair and shampoo bar thoroughly. Rub the bar between wet hands to create a lather, or gently glide it over wet hair.

Massage into your hair and scalp, then rinse thoroughly.

Follow with our Ashes-To-Beauty Conditioner Bar if desired.

Allow your shampoo bar to dry completely between uses to help extend its life.

A Little Tip From My Own Shower: I personally keep mine up high in the corner where the shower wall meets the regular wall, away from running water. This allows it to dry between uses, so it’s ready for me to enjoy again, and again, and again!
