Are you being called to be brave?
To dig deep, suck air into lungs and hold your head high for the glory of God. To get dirty and bloodied in the arena for a vision that has been seared on your heart.
Living for our God will require you to keep steadfast and find courage as you live radically within your reality. To not grow faint when trials come but rather rise with an energy that pushes you to limits where greatness can be found.
He interrupts plans, changes your predicted outcome, asks you to take the high road and be brave. Christ is worth it.
If your God is for you…then who can be against you.
Bill Hybels spoke a verse over me yesterday which strengthened my soul and provided courage for my heart. Words that I will now repeat as I walk into my days.
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
An older man, used the words from His father in Heaven to strengthen this servant Girl for her future. When an older person calls you out, tells you that you can do it then something happens.
Courage is birthed.
Bravery creates a sense of exhilaration. Suddenly that which seemed unconquerable now turns into something doable. Tangible. A focus which creates a relentless pursuit. Where apology is left behind and boldness is picked up. You.Can.Do.It.
You are older than someone…speak life into the generation below you. Believe in their God-given dreams. God is the one who creates desire and handcrafts His servant Girls for His purpose. Be that older woman who encourages and speaks life. For the younger woman is always telling herself that she is crazy…her own worst critic.
Servant Girls need not your pessimism but rather your affirmation. For you to be the catalyst in her achieving great things for His kingdom.
Do you diminish dreams?
Breathe life into them?
Speak wisely friend.
If you see your sister who is pursuing her Heavenly conviction stumble, then be the first person to extend your arm to lift her up. Failure means that she was trying.
