Warrior Princess Hear Your Roar.

How many times a day do you remind yourself that you’re not quite good enough?

You live in self-condemnation rather than God given freedom.

You wandering eyes steal glances at others robbing your inner peace. The smile remains on your face but it’s a façade as you feel trapped, in bondage to lies.

You begin to strive, using huge amounts of energy to obtain a goal, yet each time you feel yourself fall short which compounds your weak self-esteem.

You pull yourself up, dust your knees and feel deflated.

The cycle spins and your conscience speaks to your heart. The gnawing accusations paralyze you in silence. The remedy for your healing is to continue, achieve, but the band aid effect seems useless, unhelpful.

Your eyes are set firmly on opinions of others. Are they going to see my successful efforts this time? An injection of applause may come temporarily but that’s all it is…temporary.

Security is promising itself when you live in the worlds definition of success. It fails.

It sounds clichéd, words on a screen as you read but the truth is, the God of the Heavens pursues you. Don’t you know child of His that you are enough?

You see, God loved you before you opened your heart to love Him.

“This is real love. It’s not that we loved God, but He loved us and sent His son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.” 1 John 4:10

God has expressed and unending, infallible love that conquers any insecure moment that creeps deep into our soul.

Friend, please don’t sit and ‘read words’ but rather chew on what this love, this perfect unconditional love means for you…right in this moment.

Restore your thoughts with goodness and truth.

Retrain your thinking pattern and grab hold of your insecurities before they breed and sit heavily in your heart.

Don’t allow the enemy to steal from you anymore. Hasn’t he done enough damage in your life?

His plot to kill, steal and destroy You. Your not invincible but rather seen and targeted.

That’s where we become warriors. Servant Girls need not cower but rise in the name of Jesus and declare freedom. A solider wears protection and so must you.

“Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.

For your struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Therefore put on the full armor of God, so when the day of evil comes, you know you can conquer.

Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” Ephesians 6:10-18

Warrior princess, rise in this very moment. Abandon old patterns of thinking and live, really live with your God given intention. You are made uniquely and there is no one else in the world like You.

You are one of a kind.

  1. a great analogy that a soldier wears protection and so must we – YES! for me, in part, wearing my armour means reading His Word on my swing overlooking the gardens – spending time seeing/finding/knowing/experiencing God in nature (I loved the picture of the gal holding a huge bouquet of flowers – now that’s protection and armour with flair!). As I spend time on the swing reading, meditating and observing God at work, I marvel at the activities and antics of the Baltimore orioles, sparrows, finches, hummingbirds, red-winged blackbirds, robins, cow birds and bunnies as they forage at the feeders for seeds, nectar, grape jelly, seedlings, blossoms and in turn feed their young, as they ride the wind or scatter when the hawk arrives – I see God at work with incredible creativity, beauty and a sense of adventure. When I watching the clouds cross my piece of the sky and the wind bowing the branches of the trees – I see His power, gentle, strong, purposeful. These are times of worship when I am in awe of the God of creation, who even created me and wants my praise, worship and attention. An audience of One is worth giving my all.
